I built a Telegram bot with a compact mini app for managing tasks. This post explains why it exists and who it's for.

Why it lives in Telegram

You don't switch between a dozen apps, and you don't sign up for the mini app, because you're already signed in to Telegram. When a task is created or completed, the bot posts the details to the chat, so everyone sees it at once.

What it does

  • Personal and shared projects.
  • A date, a time and a reminder for each task.
  • In a shared project, tasks can be assigned to specific people.
  • A clean interface with quick access to every feature.

Why I built it

I'm an indie hacker, a developer who builds products alone. I got interested in Telegram mini apps and wanted to try making one. There weren't many that were both useful and well made, and the task managers I found didn't convince me. I decided that unless I came up with something better, I'd build a task manager myself. I never did come up with anything better.

Who it's for

Small teams who like Telegram and don't want to move anywhere else. There is no complicated setup: add the bot to your chat (the mini app has an "Add bot to chat" button), and the bot will walk you through the rest.
