Telegram profiles now have a music section. Any audio file you play in the app, whether it came from a private chat, a group or Saved Messages, can be pinned to your profile, and anyone who opens the profile can listen to it. The feature was first spotted in a beta of the app and then shipped in Telegram's August 2025 update.

How it works

To add a track, open it in the media player and tap "Add to Profile", or select the audio file and choose Save to… → Profile. The tracks you add build up into a playlist that appears in a bar under your profile photo. A visitor sees what is playing and can open the playlist by tapping the current track.

The update also lets you choose which tab opens first on your profile, for example stories or gifts, if you'd rather not lead with music.

Tasks live in Telegram too

As Telegram absorbs music, payments and business tools, it is also where many teams keep their conversations about work. @iTasker_bot is a task manager built as a mini app for that case: a message becomes a task with a date and a reminder, and personal and shared projects are managed without leaving the chat.
