A work chat can contain an assignment for a colleague, a voice message from a client and a photo of a document. Telegram bots can turn those messages into tasks, text or expense entries. This roundup covers ten Telegram bots, with a specific use for each: managing team work, processing messages or finding channels to explore for advertising.

1. iTasker: turn a message into a team task

When assignments stay inside a chat, someone has to remember who took them and when the work is due. iTasker turns a message into a task that you can open in its Mini App and manage with your team.

A task can have an assignee, deadline, priority and recurrence. Break larger work into a checklist: for example, assign a colleague a report every Friday. In the Mini App, check off items, view the change history and add tags to group tasks.

In a linked group, reply to a message with /new to use that message as the task text. If you add text after the command, the bot uses the new text instead. Ordinary group conversation does not create tasks automatically.

Check the action, assignee and deadline on the resulting card. Recurring tasks have another rule: the next instance appears after the current one is completed. The bot does not create every future Friday at once. For voice input, see Voice tasks and AI.

2. Skeddy: remember a call or a payment

Skeddy accepts reminders written in natural language. Open its Mini App to check your reminder list and schedule.

Start with a short message saying what to do and when. Check the interpreted date and time zone before relying on the notification. This can help with calling a supplier or paying an invoice. If you need to assign the work to a colleague and track completion, use a team task tool. The Skeddy website explains its reminder features.

3. Livegram: receive feedback through your own bot

Livegram lets you receive and reply to customer messages through a separate bot. Create a bot in BotFather and provide its token to Livegram. A customer writes to your bot; you receive the message and reply from Telegram.

This provides a feedback entry point for a small project. After connecting the bot, send a test question from another account and confirm that the reply arrives. A token grants control of a bot. Share it only with the service you are connecting, and keep it out of public chats and guides.

4. Mobs: log income and expenses in Google Sheets

Send an amount to Mobs while it is still fresh in your memory. For example, enter “dinner 4200” to log an expense, then check the resulting spreadsheet row.

Mobs uses a Google spreadsheet in your account. That means the data is stored in Google's cloud service.

Add a test transaction after connecting and check the amount, category and whether it is recorded as income or an expense. This can help you capture transactions throughout the day. Full bookkeeping and statutory reporting require a separate process.

5. Gmail Bot: read email in Telegram

Gmail Bot lets you receive and work with email in the messenger. You can read a new message without opening a separate email client.

This can be useful when inquiries or contractor replies arrive in Gmail while your working conversations happen in Telegram. Review the permissions the bot requests. A separate mailbox and a test email are enough to try the integration. When you stop using it, revoke its access in your Google account settings.

6. Yandex Translate: translate a message inside Telegram

Yandex Translate takes text and returns a translation. For example, “Delivery on Friday” becomes “Доставка в пятницу” in Russian.

Try a supplier's message or a short product description. The translation can help you understand the content. Check prices, units, dates and deal terms against the original separately: a mistake in one of those details can change the meaning of the whole message.

7. SaluteSpeech: get text from a voice message

SaluteSpeech provides transcription when listening to audio is inconvenient. Send a voice message to receive its transcript.

You can scan the result, copy it into a note or use it for further work. Check names, numbers and dates against the recording first. If the audio contained an assignment, a transcript alone does not establish who will do it or when it is due. You may want to create a task directly, for example with a short voice message to iTasker.

8. OCR this: extract text from a photo

OCR this recognises text in images. Send a photo to receive the recognised text and a result file. Images enter a processing queue, so the response may take some time.

Use it to copy a passage from a printed document or a label on a package. Start with a short, well-lit sample. Check product codes, amounts and payment details in the result, since similar-looking characters can be confused.

9. EGRUL Bot: look up a Russian company

Use EGRUL Bot to search by a person’s name or an organisation’s name. A name can return several records, so select the relevant match.

For a Russian counterparty, search using a known INN tax ID or OGRN registration number when available. The name alone may not be enough. A bot result is useful for an initial look; check the current record and official extract with the Federal Tax Service. A matching name does not establish that you have found the intended organisation.

10. SearcheeBot: find Telegram channels by topic

SearcheeBot searches the TGStat channel directory. Enter a topic, such as the Russian phrase for “children’s goods”, to get a list of channels you can open individually.

The results can be a starting point for advertising or partnership research. Open the candidate channels and review recent posts, audience responses and placement terms. The bot searches its directory. The results do not represent every Telegram channel or a list already vetted for your advertising needs.
